LOCATION: La Libertad, Huehuetenango, Guatemala 

Las Terrazas is situated in the middle of the limestone valley in La Libertad, Huehuetenango. The valley creates a stable microclimate, protecting the farm from extreme weather conditions.This, along with chalky soils contributes to dense, syrupy body, and lovely acidity in the cup. 

Large parts of the farm are protected area of wild forest, much of which is used to reduce soil erosion and reduces plant exposure to the winds. This is based on permaculture model, with the intention of sustainability and respect for the enviroment, to try and recreate the coffee natural habitat in high altitude forests.

Cupping notes:  Berry chocolate, dark syrupy body
