It means Lya's forest and was named by the original owner to honour his newborn daughter. Of the ninety-six hectares fully one third has been left as rainforest where, between 1473 and 1650, an abundance of wildlife lives. it is a most beautiful estate with wide ranging views of, amongst other things, the mountains and volcanoes of west El Salvador and Guatemala.
